The School Earned Multiple Honors at the 2024–2025 Academic Year Student and Counselor Commendation Conference

On March 12, 2026, Beijing Normal University’s 2024–2025 Academic Year Student and Counselor Commendation Conference was held at the Yingdong Academic Hall. Wei Wei, Associate Secretary of the University Party Committee, leading officials of relevant university departments, and representatives of award-winning faculty and students attended the conference.

Faculty and student representatives of the School received numerous honors and awards. The School was granted the Distinguished Award for Student Affairs Work; the School Committee of the Communist Youth League was named a Red Flag Youth League Committee. Wang Jun was honored as Outstanding Individual in Student Affairs Work and Advanced Individual in Conscription Work. Chang Xinyang received the BYD Teaching Encouragement Award and was titled Outstanding Secretary of the Youth League Committee. Zhang Huilin was recognized as an Outstanding Liaison Officer for Conscription Work. Student representatives receiving awards on site included Zhang Minglang, winner of the Top Ten Outstanding Undergraduates of Beijing Normal University; Lü Yanyi, Associate Secretary of the Economics Second Party Branch, a First-Class Jingshi Pioneer Party Branch; Lan Zixin, recipient of the Outstanding Winner (Meritorious Winner) in the Mathematical Contest in Modeling; and Qin Yuanyuan, winner of the Third Prize in the Beijing Normal University Final of the National College Student Career Planning Competition.

Moving forward, BNUBS will continue to fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, thoroughly implement the new-era project of moral education, and adhere to holistic, whole-process, all-round and full-domain education. The School will strive to cultivate first-class students with distinct characteristics of "having ideals, moral integrity, professional competence and a strong sense of responsibility", and contribute the strength of BNU’s economics and business administration community to the university’s "Double First-Class" initiative.
