On the morning of March 9, 2026, a meeting announcing the appointment and removal of cadres was held in Conference Room 1610 of the Main Building. Present at the meeting were Ma Xiao, Assocoate Director of the Organization Department of the University Party Committee, members of the School’s administrative and Party leadership teams, heads of various internal institutions, secretaries of faculty Party branches, as well as teacher and student representatives. The meeting was presided over by Sun Zhijun, Secretary of the School Party Committee.

On behalf of the University Party Committee, Ma Xiao read out the notice on appointment and removal: Zhou Jianghua was appointed Associate Dean of BNUBS; Wei Hao was relieved of the post of Associate Dean of BNUBS.

In his speech, Wei Hao expressed his sincere gratitude to the organization for its trust and training, to all leaders for their consistent guidance and care, and to colleagues for their strong support and assistance. He pledged to remain a staunch supporter of the School’s development and make every effort to contribute to its construction and progress.

Zhou Jianghua thanked the organization for its trust and great responsibility, noting that the new post entails a significant mission and heavy responsibilities. He stated that in the future, he would focus on his core duties, strengthen ideological guidance, uphold the purpose of education and service, and work in a pragmatic and realistic manner in his new role to contribute to the high-quality development of the School.

Dean Qi Yudong expressed his gratitude to Wei Hao for his hard work and outstanding achievements during his term as Associate Dean, and congratulated Zhou Jianghua on his new appointment. He expressed his hope that Zhou Jianghua would work solidly, explore boldly and innovate courageously in the new post, unite and lead all teachers and students of the School together with the School’s leadership team, fully implement the work arrangements of the University Party Committee, and go all out to advance the various undertakings of the School.

In his concluding speech, Secretary Sun Zhijun thanked the Organization Department of the University Party Committee for its care and support for the construction of the School’s cadre team. He expressed his hope that all faculty members of the School would align their thinking and actions with the decisions and arrangements of the University Party Committee, pool efforts and strive for tangible results to jointly write a new chapter in the high-quality development of the School.
