First, Researcher Pei expounded on the historical inevitability of constructing an independent knowledge system for Chinese economics. From a historical logic perspective, the development of economic disciplines is inextricably linked to a nation's economic status. As a leading discipline within the broader field of philosophy and social sciences, building an independent economic knowledge system is pivotal to advancing the overall independent knowledge system of philosophy and social sciences.

The Second is the path for the construction of China’s independent knowledge system in economics. Researcher Pei Changhong emphasized that the core of the construction of China’s independent knowledge system in economics lies in adhering to the "Two Combinations." The "Two Combinations" are not only the experience of the Party's theoretical innovation but also highlight the practicality of theory, that is, constantly revising and adjusting theories according to changes in practice. This process is inseparable from the historical and cultural characteristics of the country and the nation. Traditional Chinese economic thought is rich in content, forming an economic thought system deeply integrated with national governance, covering fields such as foreign trade, currency, and finance, and has become a valuable ideological resource. At the same time, the construction of China’s independent knowledge system in economics needs to adhere to upholding integrity and innovation: "Upholding integrity" means adhering to the correct path of Marxism and establishing its fundamental position; "Innovation" requires basing on the Chinese perspective, strengthening the research and interpretation of the Party Central Committee's new concepts, new thoughts, and new strategies for state governance, and refining new theories with academic rationality and new practices with regularity. In this process, it is necessary to dispel the myth of Western-centrism, correctly treat the role of artificial intelligence in academic research, and shape academic norms with Chinese style.
