In the afternoon of March 27, the Finance Department of the School organized faculty and students to visit and exchange views with Beijing Daokou Fintech Technology Co., Ltd., a leading fintech enterprise. Led by Jiang Jie, Associate Dean of the School, the visit was participated by a total of 12 faculty members and students.

Founded in 2018, Beijing Daokou Fintech Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in corporate big data and industrial chain finance. Centered on artificial intelligence technologies, the company develops industrial chain graphs and risk control models to provide digital solutions for banks and government agencies in inclusive finance, industrial investment promotion, and other fields. Mr. Yuan Wei, Founder and CEO of the company, has been appointed as an off-campus supervisor for the School’s fintech program for three consecutive sessions.

During the visit, the Daokou Fintech team delivered an in-depth yet accessible presentation on the company’s development history, business model, data resources, core technology research and development, and typical application cases. Associate Dean Jiang Jie expressed gratitude to Daokou Fintech for the thoughtful arrangement and briefly introduced the discipline construction and talent cultivation of the School’s fintech program. In the interactive session, the visiting faculty and students had a lively and in-depth exchange with the company’s team on topics including business models, cutting-edge industry trends, and talent competency requirements.

This visit has deepened faculty and students’ understanding of fintech practices, provided valuable industry insights for optimizing the talent training program and improving the teaching practice system of the School’s fintech major, and further strengthened communication and ties between the School and its off-campus supervisor institutions.
