BNUBS Held 2025 Annual Review and Leadership Performance Reporting Conference

On January 14, 2026, the 2025 Annual Review and Leadership Performance Reporting Conference of BNUBS was held at Jingshi Hall, Jingshi Academy, Beijing Normal University. Members of the School's Party and administrative leadership team delivered individual work summaries and reports on their job performance and integrity respectively. The conference was hosted by Dean Qi Yudong.

Secretary of the Party Committee Sun Zhijun delivered a report on the work of the School's Party Committee first. In 2025, the Party Committee of the School thoroughly studied and comprehended Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Central Economic Work Conference, and adhered to taking political construction as the guide to make an overall plan for the School's reform and development. Taking the opportunity of summarizing the experience of the 14th Five-Year Plan and formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan scientifically, the School continuously improved its top-level design and strategic layout. Driven by the in-depth study and education activities on the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation of the Central Government and the solid promotion of inspection and rectification work, the foundation of grass-roots Party building was consolidated and the main responsibility for comprehensively exercising strict Party self-governance was strengthened. By strengthening the guidance of mainstream values and cultural education, the School strictly guarded the ideological position and consolidated the line of defense for the safety and stability of the college. Taking the reform of the financial budget system as the driving force, efforts were made to build a guarantee system supporting the high-quality development of the high-level faculty team and comprehensively improve the management efficiency.

 

 

Associate Dean Jiang Jie reported on talent training, laboratory management and trade union work. In 2025, the School adhered to equal emphasis on academic and practical aspects in talent training, achieved remarkable teaching results and won many national and university-level honors. The laboratory construction focused on digital empowerment, supporting the teaching and research needs of teachers and students by introducing cutting-edge database resources and AI training. The trade union continued to create a harmonious atmosphere, enhancing the cohesion and sense of belonging of all faculty and staff.

 

 

Associate Secretary Han Lili summarized the Party building and ideological and political work among teachers and students, as well as alumni and publicity work. In 2025, the School actively promoted the transformation of Party building from "physical coverage" to "effective leadership", exploring new paths for the in-depth integration of Party building and business. Alumni work continued to make efforts, building an education community through brand activities. Publicity work kept up with the hot topics of the times, showing the style of teachers and students from multiple dimensions and significantly improving the social influence of the School.

 

Associate Dean Hu Conghui reported on discipline construction, scientific research and international exchange work. In 2025, the School  optimized the discipline layout and actively expanded new disciplinary directions. Adhering to the principle of "improving quality and efficiency", the scientific research work paid more attention to the cultivation of landmark achievements and the construction of high-end academic platforms on the basis of maintaining high per capita output. Important breakthroughs were made in internationalization. The EQUIS reaccreditation was successfully completed, and substantial progress was made in promoting the branding of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs and international student education.

 

Associate Secretary Wang Jun summarized the student work and administrative work. In 2025, the School adhered to the problem-oriented approach, built a systematic education mechanism, helping students achieve excellent results in various academic competitions. Administrative work strived to improve efficiency, providing solid service guarantee for the efficient operation of the School through digital construction and spatial layout optimization.

 

Dean Assistant Zhou Jianghua reported on MBA education. Facing the fierce market competition in the past year, MBA education took the initiative to make changes and achieved brand breakthrough through all-media matrix publicity. In the training stage, by upgrading the curriculum system, strengthening digital literacy and practical teaching, and deepening the school-enterprise cooperative education, the brand value and talent training quality of MBA education were further improved.

 

Finally, on behalf of the School's administrative team, Dean Qi Yudong summarized the development achievements of the School in 2025 and explained the main goals and key indicators of the five-year plan for the future. He stated that in 2025, the School had achieved steady improvement in key indicators such as talent training, discipline construction, scientific research output and internationalized school running. Particularly remarkable achievements had been made in international certification, the construction of national high-level talents and national major scientific research projects, successfully completing all the goals and indicators of the School's 14th Five-Year Plan. Looking forward to the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the School will implement the three major projects of "Discipline Upgrade, Talent Strengthening the College and International Leadership". Through the in-depth integration of the four dimensions of "strategy, discipline, education and opening-up", the School will make new progress towards the vision of a first-class business school with humanistic heritage and international influence.

 

After the conference, all teachers  conducted a democratic appraisal of the School's Party and administrative leadership team and its members from five aspects, namely morality, ability, diligence, achievement and integrity.
